Pre- and Post-Care Instructions

Your Journey to a Safe Recovery

Aftercare Guidelines

The success of any procedure depends as much on your preparation and recovery as it does on the surgery itself. Following these medically supervised guidelines minimizes risks, accelerates healing, and ensures your transformation is as smooth and comfortable as possible. Our team is with you every step of the way to provide support and clarity.

Essential Recovery Protocols

Maintain a clean, high-protein diet and stay well-hydrated in the weeks leading up to and following surgery to support tissue repair and cellular health.

Ensure you have a responsible adult to drive you home and assist with daily tasks for at least the first 24–48 hours following your procedure.

These visits allow your surgeon to monitor your healing progress, remove sutures, and clear you for increased physical activity.

Critical Precautions for a Safe Recovery

Nicotine constricts blood vessels and significantly impairs healing; you must cease all use at least 4 weeks before and after surgery.

Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and certain herbal supplements (like Vitamin E or Garlic) for two weeks prior to surgery, as these increase the risk of bruising and bleeding.

Avoid heavy lifting, straining, or elevated heart rates until explicitly cleared by your surgeon to prevent complications like swelling or incision separation.
